TD Bank
Make Today Matter
24 TD customers across North America, scouted because of their benevolent interests, were surprised with a monetary gift of $30,000 that they could use to give back to the community. The only catch: they had to use it that day. Supported by a team of producers, we had 24 hours to make their dreams a reality. This program was an extremely complex and challenging production. The 24 acts were divided equally between Canadian and American customers and took place simultaneously. I was part of the American production. The production structure was a 2-day process. Day 1 was a setup day where hidden cameras were planted and the bank was scouted, as well as other potential locations the community events could take place. Day 2 was the reveal and community event. We would travel the following and begin the 2-day process over again. With 12 cities and 12 events in 30 days, this project was a logistical matrix and part of the excitement of it was how often that matrix would have to be reshuffled to accommodate unexpected circumstances. There’s nothing quite like the education and knowledge you build when working on surprise and delight productions.
