Donut Picking

The Vegetarian Food Festival celebrated its 31st anniversary in the summer of 2015. Alongside fantastic food crafted by local and international chefs, it also hosts many other vendors and workshops free to the public. The Vegetarian Food Festival is not about recruiting carnivores, but rather about celebrating everything vegetarian food has to offer. As a promotion before the festival, we hosted a 2-day Donut Picking event. Vegan donuts were hung on branded bushes throughout Trinity Bellwoods Park and Young and Dundas Square and the public was encouraged to come and pick themselves a donut.
